Jharkhand Urja Vikas Nigam Limited Started operations on 6th January, 2014 after unbundling of erstwhile Jharkhand State Electricity Board (JSEB) in the year, 2013. Jharkhand Urja Vikas Nigam Limited was incorporated under the Companies Act, 1956 on the Sixteenth day of September Two Thousand Thirteen.
Jharkhand Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (JUVNL) is the incorporated Power Holding Company in the State of Jharkhand by unbundling of erstwhile Jharkhand State Electricity Board (JSEB).
JUVNL envisions contributing for all round development and ushering prosperity by catering all generation, transmission and distribution of power related requirements within the state of Jharkhand. It is dedicated towards meeting aspirations of the citizens and providing quality power through coordinated and efficient functioning of its subsidiary companies under its umbrella namely: Jharkhand Urja Utpadan Nigam Limited (JUUNL), Jharkhand Urja Sancharan Nigam Limited (JUSNL) & Jharkhand Bijli Vitran Nigam Limited (JBVNL)
